Almost all phones, especially high-end, are actually able to handle cellular games, even the intensive graphics. However, a dedicated gaming cellphone, add some special features that aim to make gamer life easier. That includes keeping their cellphones burning from all of these activities. Instead of only advanced cooling technology, some gaming phones go old school and really put fans on the phone. Silly because it might be heard, Samsung might really pay attention and might apply its own telephone fan in the future.
To be clear, it’s uncertain but Samsung just ordered marketing phrases for such features. Seen by Letsgodigital, Samsung applied for trademarks in Europe to “activate fan mode” which applies to phones and tablets. Consider no Samsung mobile device today that has a fan to be activated, only makes sense that it will come in the future phone.
Activate FAN mode suggest that it is the future that users will be able to turn on or turn off the fan, reverse from “no fan mode” held by Samsung on the new Galaxy Book Pro Laptop. Although there is no fan mode that tries to offer a quieter computer experience, activating fan mode allows users to push their cellphone hardware to the limit without inhibiting the CPU from heat.
Of course, Samsung phones are not too hot while playing gaming but they may also suffer from thermal throttling in that sense. This can be a certain problem when Samsung launches Exynos 2,200 which is rumored to be coming with AMD graphics technology. Samsung will definitely try pushing such a telephone as a game phone and may need some additional cooling systems to compensate.
Of course, this is still just a suspicion based on a single trademark archive. Samsung is expected to focus first on a arm-based laptop with Exynos 2,200 which is rumored but the phone may also be on the table. Whether it will be a special gaming cellphone complete with the built-in fan is also a different possibility but still possible.
